This episode (download here), the Geeks are happy to have Coaches Jeff (@coachprs) and Diane(@dianeprs) from PRS-Fit join the show. We have a nice lengthy discussion about heart-rate and duration based training and why it works. Coach Jeff also talks about how he got into coaching and reason why he chooses the heart rate training methodology as opposed to the distance based one.
Again this week, the controversy over the scheduling the 2011 IronMan Kona during Yom Kippur (10/08/2011) came up again and Coach talks about his problems with the scheduling.
