This week (download here) the Geeks are excited to be talking with Paul Ingraham (@PainfulTweets) from SaveYourself.ca. Paul, a former Licensed Massage Therapist, writes extensively on the science of aches, pains, and injury. He has authored 8 books on various topics dealing with common sports related injuries such as ITBS, Plantar Fasciitis, and Shin Splints.
Paul discusses his approach to injuries and uses Raymond’s ITBS issues to explain and debunk popular notions on this topic. His views on treatments for ITBS such as Foam rolling, Stretching, icing etc… are quite interesting.
