This week (download here), the Geeks talk to… well, themselves. No guest this week, just the guys. Jason and Ray go over some long overdue listener e-mail, review some holiday gift ideas from friends in the running community, and
talk about about the importance of the community support that the guys have had over the past six months. Jason even received some new bling that Dan (@passinthrough) hooked him up with for successfully completing the Chicago Half Marathon.
Also this week, thanks to Johnny Hegs (@johnnyhegs), a Daily Mile iPhone app (ElectricMiles) was released. The guys gave their review of the application and are very excited about it. As a result, @johnnyhegs was the Twitter Search and follow victim this episode. Give him a shout out if you use daily mile because he [UPDATE] and, Stephen Ryner (@nuthatch) did an awesome job creating this app. Supposedly an Android version of the app in the works.
Until next time, leave feedback on iTunes, email questions and comments to feedback [at] GeeksInRunningShoes [dot] com or just ‘like us’ on facebook! Also follow us on Twitter, Jason (@guttocutwl) and Ray (@adeyemiking).
Thank you for an awesome six months and twenty four episodes. We are looking forward to spending the whole of 2011 with you. From Jason and Ray, we wish you a safe and happy holidays!
Peace!!

Credit goes to Steve R (@nuthatch) for creating the app. I played the public facing role to allow Steve to stay focused on developing his app. I hope you enjoy Electric Miles.
We definitely do enjoy it! Our mistake on not crediting Steve as well. We’ll point it out next episode. Thanks for your involvement in ElectricMiles nonetheless.

Gents- thanks for the show!
Jason- glad to hear you are getting your mojo back! Do you listen to Dirt Dawg? He did a great podcast about his relationship with running, if you haven’t heard it you may enjoy it… anyway, glad to hear the fun is back and the excitement in your voice.

Yes, I love DirtDawg’s show and talk to Mike often on Twitter. The episode you are referring to is the one saying Running is like a marriage, right? Yes, trying to get the fun back into my running. Gonna try to get a couple in around Christmas, but with family in town and snow on the ground, might be tricky. Thanks for listening, Phil!
