Episode 10 – First Live Show

This episode (download here), we played the audio from our first live recording on UStream. It was a lot of fun. Thank you to all of you that joined us. It certainly pumped up Jason and Lauren. We will have a race report during our next episode – episode 11. In case you missed the show, check out Raymond’s flickr page to view pictures of us recording.

We discussed the Health & Fitness Expo experience, last minute race tips, and chatted with listeners in the chat room who offered support and advice.

This week, we featured twitter user @KiranElaine as we searched for “Chicago Half Marathon” (Again). She was also prepping for the race. Hope she had a good race.

Until next time, leave feedback on iTunes, email questions and comments to feedback [at] GeeksInRunningShoes [dot] com. Also, follow us on Twitter, Jason (@guttocutwl) and Ray (@adeyemiking).

As always, thanks for listening!

  1. Hi guys,
I have listened to episode 8 and 9 now and will be making you regulars in my running entertainment folder. Episode 9 had me cracking up literally laughing out loud on my run today, great stuff. I’m a retired geek myself with 10 years as a network engineer so your occasional geek talk feels right at home with me.
Thanks for the laugh and helping me pass the time on my run.

Thanks for checking us out, Dan! I’m just so surprised that Episode 9 didn’t cause people to stop listening. We were both so tired and had to keep restarting the episode for some reason or another. I just downloaded all of your episodes for listening tomorrow.

      Jason
